Pingelly Merino Lifetime Productivity Project Field Day - 28 March 2018

The Merino Lifetime Productivity (MLP) Project site at Pingelly located at the University of Western Australia's "Ridgefield" property is hosting a Field Day showcasing progeny from 29 diverse industry sires (sires listed below). This site is made possible through a partnership between the Federation of Performance Sheep Breeders (WA Branch), Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia - and is known as the Yardstick trial.

Don't miss the opportunity to see firsthand these F1 ewes who, along with 4000 other ewes in the MLP project, will be annually measured, classed and joined to create a unique and powerful lifetime Merino

The day will include presentations of the trial results (including the first of the Pingelly reproduction results) and a guest speaker program including Geoff Lindon (AWI), Ben Swain (AMSEA) and Bronwyn Clarke (Pingelly MLP Site Manager).

Time:        1:00 - 5:00pm

Location: "Ridgefield", Pingelly WA (Avery Yards)
